I added a few more pictures of yesterdays activities! The snow is way too deep and our dress attire is way too inappropriate for playing outside in the snow, so yesterday we brought the snow inside for some play! Here are some pictures of Sidney & Avery's first play in the snow! I wanted it to feel like we were some what outside, so I thought we'd wear hats! I forgot that Avery isn't fond of hats, so here is Sidney with hers on.

If you think hats are hard to keep on little kids, you should try gloves. Their little hands kept getting cold, so we got out the spoons!

Sidney.....

Avery eating snow! Mmmmm...

Hello Everyone! It's amazing how much time has gone by! My parents have begun their trip back to Buffalo and we are sad to see them go. I wish I were as flexible as Sidney & Avery, as they seem to be handling their departure quite well. I, on the other hand, feel as if the house is some what empty!!! Some much has happened in the last two months so I am excited to share with you these pictures! The first major happening is all the snow! Here is Avery trying on Dad's hat!
And if one does something, the other has to do it too!

Chris outside shovelling all the snow!
Snow......

And more snow.....

The girls are really into feeding themselves lately. Here is Avery eating her first bowl of cherrios with milk and a spoon! It's amazing how well they do when they are hungry. And I emphasize the word "hungry".
Here's Sidney hamming it up for the camera! Over the last month each one of the girls seems to have had an ear infection or sore mouth from teething. Luckily neither one were sick at the same time.

The girls are currently really good at letting us know when they are tired and ready for bed. They actually go to the bottom of the stairs and wait for us to remove the gate. Part of their routine is climbing up the stairs and waving good-bye to Granny & Grampy in the living room. This is Avery waving good-bye!

I think I have drank more Mocha's in the last two months than in my entire life. I guess that was part of the routine for us adults while Granny & Grampy visited. Here is Sidney "pretending" to drink her latte.

Yes, the girls are beginning to potty train. Avery has been showing signs for a few weeks but has not actually gone to the bathroom on the toilet yet. Here she is reading a book while she waits.

Sidney on the other hand didn't really show us any signs, but followed Avery's lead. She has gone to the bathroom a couple of times. Yeah! Here she is picking her toes (Granny taught them this!)

Ah! Valentine's Day! Avery & Sidney received a nice package in the mail from Grandma & Grandpa Shinabery. Here is Avery eating her first chocolate sucker made by Grandma.

Here is Sidney enjoying her chocolate sucker. Sidney absolutely loves the taste of chocolate.

This is Sidney realizing all the chocolate is gone. She's pretty upset!

Actually, she is REALLY upset!

Luckily, Grandma also sent them both a giraffe for Valentine's Day too! They adore these!

Here is Sidney loving her Giraffe!

Avery loving her Giraffe!

Avery & Grampy taking a nap together!

Aunt Michelle knit these sweaters for the girls! They are her first try at a sweater! We love them!!! Sidney (left) & Avery (right).

While Dad was visiting, he & Chris built an office for me in our basement. That meant that the basement had to be cleaned. Going thru all our "junk", Sidney found a wig.

Avery wanted to wear the wig too!

Avery with the long haired wig on!

Hanging out with Grampy on the couch!
